Specialiştii au descoperit rămăşiţele unui “Hobbit”, care ar fi trăit în urmă cu 12.000 de ani

Rămăşiţele unei creaturi, supranumită de cercetători „Hobbitul”, au fost descoperite în insula Flores din arhipelagul indonezian, zonă în care specialiştii cred că nanismul ar fi reprezentat o caracteristică generală, informează BBC.

Rămăşiţele găsite demonstrează că este posibil ca această creatură să fi făcut parte dintr-o specie umană timpurie şi „micşorată”, ai cărei membri nu depăşeau înălţimea de un metru. Potrivit cercetătorilor, „hobbitul” a fost contemporan cu specia noastră până în urmă cu 12.000 de ani.

This film version of J. R. R. Tolkien’s classic fantasy novel of the same name features the adventures of small humanoid race that stands about two to four feet tall.

Though these creatures inhabit the fictional world of Middle Earth, scientists have discovered that an actual hobbit-like species of humans existed during pre-historic times. Leading into the idea that the Earth was home to three different species of humans: homosapiens, Neanderthal, and now the Hobbit.
